I’m grateful to be alive and breathing another year! There are so many people around the world who can’t say that.
December 2016 was very challenging. I became physically, emotionally, and mentally tired. The constant running around from this meeting; that rehearsal; this event; takes a toll on the body. It’s amazing that I will reach a new age in August. In order to get there, I got to get back to a familiar and consistent routine.
If I’m able to get this back (which I know I am), I know I have to push myself. I’m ready for the next order to go to one of my favorite sites: QVC.
Around the holidays, there’s plenty of food and drink (starting in November). The key is being selective about healthier options. I see a new me in 2017 and I look forward to it!
Kelly Price – It’s My Time
I hadn’t worn this black dress in over three years! My arms aren’t where they need to be so I wore this sheer top. I was feeling myself when I wore it to a banquet at my fraternal order conference. But why did I HAVE to get one of those freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies at the hotel? Lol
I’ve been getting compliments on my new me but I’m still a work in progress. I managed to walk during the time I was out on last weekend. I need to get back to my daily routine of a workout. I won’t allow any obstacles to throw me off course!

I had another opportunity to walk without music and I was challenged to dig deeper.
I had no music; radio nor phones to carry. Just my keys and my sunglasses. It was a beautiful day and the picture above was previously taken at another time. Several thoughts were coming to mind:
–thinking about current events
–things I could do to further my journey
–thoughts of family and friends
–excited to get ice cream
Another accomplishment is that I walked 2, 842 steps within 90 minutes! I worked up a sweat so in the shower I went!
I became more aware of what I was thinking. I envisioned what it would be like to be 40 pounds lighter by March 20, 2015. I need to step it up. I went to Whole Foods today to get some Kombucha tea and a couple of other items . It was good that I several bottles of water from a family gathering this past Sunday (the food was good LOL)
I started a 24-Day Abs Workout Challenge that I am following and it’s been THAT challenge! I had to modify my planks. When my legs strengthen, I’ll be able to do a true plank.
I’m so looking forward to the new ME and it’s going to be fantastic!
During my walks, I spent time in THIS mood! I’ve been feeling this way for a while. One day, I’ll truly experience it…..
