The Vision is real! This is an example of a Vision Board and not mine.
For quite some time, I’ve been seeing visions; dreams of what can happen soon. They’re too close! It’s the effort in which an individual will make to put goals into action with a positive outlook and clear the path. My vision remains the same but the visions are different: to pursue and maintain a healthy lifestyle–physically; mentally; spiritually; and financially.
I continue the pursuit and maintenance of eating healthy. As I said in a previous blog post “health is wealth.” Now during the time of my family reunion earlier this month, those thoughts were left behind. I got into detox mode once I returned to my place.
I’m so grateful that I’m able to share my journey with current and new readers of my blog and I just want to say “Thank You!” I hope you all continue to read; comment; share; and I hope to do the same.
“My peace I leave with you. It’s the kind of peace that the world cannot give you. I am commanding you to love one another, just like the way that I’ve shown love for you…OH, my peace I leave with you.” ~ My Peace I Leave With You, composed by John Watson
These past two weeks, the common theme has been peace: what I’ve read; sung; or listen to in various formats. It’s definitely needed as I continue this journey of improving my physical, mental, spiritual, and professional life. I’ve said before, this journey isn’t easy. I continue to push through and lean on positivity; wisdom; faith; those who support me and give constructive feedback.
At times, you have one of those days when situations come at you when you least expected, and you just want to scream. The internal wisdom and faith continue to say to me, “Be patient. Trust. Breathe.”
I’ll continue to keep pushing and keep the faith. Along the way, as I long as I have peace in the heart, spirit, and mind, I will not lose.
No music on this post. Peace be with you.
I’ve been using more of the public transit system where I live. I’m grateful that I can access most locations using it. It’s rare that I would call on an Uber driver or a cab.
With all this time spent using public transportation, I BETTER have lost some inches LOL! Of course, abs are made in the kitchen so it’s important to watch what you eat. I continue to fix healthy meals but when I went home for a family reunion, that mindset changed LOL. I kept saying “Detox is needed once I return home.”
This is a short blog post. I continue to persevere and keep moving.
I DO love myself!
No matter what you deal with on your journey, the artist Ledisi made a song about it entitled “bgty (Be Good To Yourself)” and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Not plan…DO! Remember our dear Yoda?
In spite of obstacles thrown at me, I must continue to keep focused and rely on works and faith. It amazes me that at one point in time, I was almost weighing 200 lbs at 5’2″. I claim to be under 180 by the end of this year. I’ve relied mostly on public transit to get to where I need to go, or other means of getting around. This has been my form of cardio. I’m grateful that people were placed in my life to support and encourage me, or make me realize that everyone doesn’t have your best interests at heart.
For some, people are preparing for the holiday weekend. As for me, it’s a gathering that I definitely plan to enjoy. Let’s see if my focus on eating right will stay with me LOL.
